Better Than A Hallelujah

Good morning and happy Friday. Listening to the radio the other day I heard Amy Grant singing "Better Than a Hallelujah". I love that song. And the reason is, is because it reminds me that God hears us all. All the time and that sometimes when we are in our darkest times or hurting the most, our plea and cry out to Him is honest and true and from a heart that knows He's God. Our pitiful cries in the night for help, peace, guidance and understanding are a sign of hope that there is a God who can help. It reminds me that it doesn't matter where you've been or where you come from or where you are right now, God is there and ready to listen and guide. He is truly amazing and loves a cry from a heart that has no where else to turn and has finally realized He is God. I love Him so much for that. In love always <><

Holes in the Roof

Good morning and happy Thursday. God rains on the house of good and evil. Doesn't seem fair that His blessings are poured out to every one does it. You're doing good and not living in a bad way and your neighbor is doing his thing his way. The difference is, you receive the blessing. You know God so you get it. He doesn't. The rain on your roof is fine because you're blessed with a good roof. The neighbor may be wanting it to stop raining cause he's got holes in his. But aren't you glad that God does that for everyone. Fair or not, I know I was glad when I became the other guy. The grace and mercy God has blows me away. All we need to do is strive to be that way and it will happen. We can't hate. We can't be angry all the time. Love has to be our number one motivator. And when you fall in love with God the Father and Son and allow the Holy Spirit to take over your heart, you've made it. Love the rain God is pouring out and help your neighbor patch his roof. In love always <><

Faith

Good morning and happy Wednesday. Faith. Have faith. Faith of a mustard seed. We've heard em all. Hard to call on it when it's your turn in the wagon though. For last nearly three years I've been in this spot of faith in God. I have wavered, questioned, even abandoned the idea of any hope at all at times. Maybe that's why it's been three years. We seem to blame God for a lot of things and never take the credit for our mistakes in it. But we're certainly quick to grab the credit if it going good and forget God in it all. We are alive today and living a life because He wants us to. He delights in us. He's not there for our pleasure. We're here for His. So trusting that He has a plan and can, and will, bless you as He sees fit. We all may be holding up deluge of blessings because we lack the faith to receive them. Really? Yes. To those who do well with little much will be given. He's just asking us to do well with where we are and have faith that He is in control. In love always <><

Don't Wait

Good morning and happy Tuesday. A lot of us grew up hearing about God. At least knowing that there are people who believe in a higher being and he's called God. Some, as a friend of mine says, were born in a church pew. That's all they know is God. That can be good and bad. Two different people living two different ways of life end up at the gates of Heaven and look at each other and ask, " How did you get here"? That's beautiful. It doesn't matter how it all started as long as before it ends, your journey in life leads you to find God. So with that should one just live as they want then fix it and get right with God on the death bed. It will work if the heart truly changes. But what if the death bed is in an ER unconscious and the paddles don't work to start the heart that needs a change. But more sad than that is the people God needed you to help and the blessing in life you could've been. We always wait til the end to really do something. Don't wait, please. You may pass by someone who needs to know that God loves them and you're the one He's chosen to show them. Be used for the rest of your life for His glory. Start today. In love always. <><

What Are You Gonna Do?

Good morning and happy Monday. The things we do for the people we care about when they're sick or ill and hurting. Like shave your head to go through chemo with them or have a fundraiser to help with costs. Stuff we normally wouldn't do. But it means so much to us and them to do something. Is it to help ourselves feel better or to deal with it? What moves you to do something out of your comfort zone? How much do you want to do for someone who's given their life for you? Is that enough to move you into action? I hope so because that's the ultimate sacrifice and it's been made for you before you were even born. Yet still we don't do much on His behalf because it's still too uncomfortable and people may laugh or say things about us. Everyone can get behind a shaved head for a friend. That's admirable. They get that. They need Jesus. Help them see Him in you. Find something and make it your own just for Him. It doesn't have to save the world, just help one or two find their way. In love always.<><
