Good morning and happy Friday. I didn't have time  ______. You can fill in the blank with anything you want. We say this a lot throughout our lives. And on the receiving end is someone else saying, its ok, I understand, no problem. But really we've hurt them some. They weren't important enough to us to matter at that time. It's not true but for a second that's how we make them feel. My grandparents grew up in a much slower time than ours, they see how busy we've made our lives and say they understand why I haven't been by in a while. I've got to make time to see them. They're important to me and they won't be here a lot longer. Sometimes we feel like we have forever with someone and then they're taken away from us. I wish I would've spent more time with them, that's what we'll say. One day though, a trumpet will sound and all time will be still and the Judge of judges will be on His throne and we will be before Him. I hope that we've spent some time getting to know Him. I hope we had time for Him. I pray that we made time for Him, because as we hurt Him in not knowing Him, we will pay in the end for Him not knowing us. Spend time with family and friends. Spend more time with God.  Can you imagine, I didn't have time God. In love always. <><

Good morning and happy Thursday. Do you know where that place is that you meet up with God? You know, that place each of has where God is right there waiting on us. He's never failed to be there and we know how safe it is to be there with Him. And even when we've walked away from that place and gone on our own, He's still right there waiting. And not one time has He ever walked away from us when we return. Why do we choose to leave that place? What moves us to move away from Him? Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness and he found the power of rebuking him in the words of God. There's our answer. He's been our example for all this time. The Bible says that Jesus was tempted in everything we would. It only lists three but by them we can learn that in all things, God's word is where we are saved from it. That's where we find Him. We need to stay in His word daily. It's our only defense against a world that doesn't really care at all about us. Go there to that place and meet Him today. He's still there waiting. In love always. <><

Good morning and happy Monday. Take a look around. Are you where you want to be? Are you where God led you or just where you fought Him to get to? How comfortable are you? That's what will really tell you which road you took. I know I've fought Him on what I thought He was really leading to me to do. I mean I really felt like I was doing His will but the whole time I was really just allowing myself to be convinced of it. So how do we know? How do we find the path He has before us? It starts on our knees. Our prayers to Him are our surrender to His will. They are our obedience to Him. Our need to lean on Him for guidance. Too often we grow impatient with where our life is at the moment and want to do something to change it as if that will make it happen faster. We've all prayed for rain, but it will rain when God wants it to. Maybe He teaching us to take better care of our resources right now. So do we stop praying because there's no answer and He'll get to it later?  Of course not. That's the obedience and expectation of relying on God to provide. He longs to hear form us just as we do from Him. But we are too busy or need gratification now. We lack the patience it takes to see it through so that He gets the glory. Look at Moses and the trek through the desert. Talk about getting impatient. Be in prayer daily for all things, not just the big stuff. Talk to Him like you would your best friend. When we begin to talk to Him the path gets easier to see and to follow. In love always. <><
