Good morning and happy Thursday. I was reading a bunch of posts on a page about the Chic-fil-et hoopla yesterday. I was amazed to find how many people slammed the place and made some horrible remarks. Most though didn't even address the real issue of what was said and just made some assumptions of being attacked yet again. This is a country were 85% of it professes to be a Christian. If I lived across the way and looked back at our country from a religious  view, which is how the entire world but us look at things, it would be easy to say that Christianity is wrong. We haven't stood our ground. We're afraid of hurting the feelings of someone else. But would you do it if it was gonna save their soul. Save them for eternity. Christians have to begin the revival of the new age. We've sat back too long and this world is falling into chaos. Change is brought about when the majority get tired of letting the minority have its way, and obviously the 85% is not doing a good of it. We've become too tolerant of hurting feelings and so we let things against our beliefs go and then it grows to what we have today. A mess of country that's lost it's Godly views of how this should be. But if 85% of the population took a stand, change would happen in and instant. In love always. <><

Good morning and happy Wednesday. I missed yesterday because I was trying to get to work early and get ahead of some stuff. We have an "auditor" type person here this week and I was trying to make sure I had some stuff ready. Gee shouldn't I have already been ready?  I do my job and do it well but I let some of this stuff slip by. It's not the important stuff but it's still something the auditor wants done. How many of us are doing a good job with God but not doing all we need to be?  How many of us need to go in early to get ourselves caught up so that we are where we should be with God? Hell will be full of good people and I don't wanna be one of them. Just like in my work, sometimes we just do enough to get the job done, and done well, but not enough to have the "Boss" be pleased fully. Get caught up today. Let His awesomeness drive you to being the best at what He wants you doing. Be bold in claiming Him as Father and King. In love always. <><

Good morning and happy Monday. Visiting with a friend yesterday who had his leg amputated recently, and he was having some phantom pains. He said his missing foot was hurting. He joked that his legs were crossed, but one day in PT he could feel his foot on the floor and his shoe was too tight. It's amazing how the body works and what it does and feels. With tha,t it made me think about the tribes of people who are found performing rituals to a god they worship. They know that something is missing and they can feel it. It's a part of them that they can't see but still feel. It's the same for us as we know too something is missing. We've tried to fill it with everything but to no avail. We feel our heart longing for something but we just can't find it. It's God and He is all that will ever fill that void because He put Himself there as a part of us. He gave us the choice to keep Him there. For many of us we live a long time without anything there and feel the pains of the missing part the whole time. What great joy and comfort it is when we allow ourselves to be filled with the Spirit of God. Call me a quack but it hasn't been proven wrong in thousands of years. And trust me, I've done my own experiments in what can and cannot fill the void. Thank you God for letting me make it to the day I filled it with you. In love always. <><

Good morning and happy Friday. TGIF. A lot of folks use those letters at the end of the week. What about TGIM ? Nobody likes Monday. Nobody thanks God its Monday. You might if you nearly died over the weekend or your child came home from a weekend camp outing. We are quick to blame God for stuff or at least ask why He let something happen, but really slow to thank Him for just the air that we breath every second of the day. Why is it so hard to be thankful? Or maybe just to let God know we're thankful? Do we assume He knows? Are we taking Him for granted? Well He knows how we feel about the bad things but we don't mind talking about those. It's relational, that's what this whole thing is. We tell each other thank you all the time because we're friends or we're doing business together, whatever. Stop and tell God thanks. Thanks for letting me wake up this morning and go about a day that I can give praise and thanks to you. And thank you for Monday. TGFE, Thank God For Everything. In love always. <><
